Khan the Lion King of Azad the Jungle Kingdom is growing old. He decides he must retire – his son Prince Shazad should inherit the throne. But the animals of Azad have a different idea… Democracy!  Khan reluctantly agrees to an election, thinking Prince Shazad will win easily. But not so fast! A donkey named Mangu, a laborer, is the surprising Animal’s Choice and becomes their newly-elected king.
