Episode 1: 

The series kicks off with Paul playing the stunning and legendary Hole 4 at The Old Head Golf Links, which perches on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The lighthouse on the horizon, lines up with the green of the Hole and overlooks the beautiful course. Next up, Paul and Chris travel to Ardglass Golf Club to play the 11th Hole, with the “original” Coney Island in the background. From there, it is the oldest club on the island of Ireland, The Royal Belfast, where Chris plays a tough 11th Hole in the middle of the club’s “Amen Corner”. Finally, Paul plays in the driving rain at Carne Golf Links at the edge of County Mayo. He has never played before at Carne and despite the wild weather he has a fantastic time as he challenges the 10th Hole.

Episode 2: 

The Episode starts at the lovely Ballycastle Golf Club near the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. At this spectacular course, Chris and Paul play the 7th Hole which runs alongside the beach, with views of Rathlin Island. Chris leaves Paul briefly and heads over to Glasson where he plays the 5th Hole, a beautiful downhill par three. Meeting up again, the pair head to The Portstewart Golf Club where they take on the 1st Hole, a magnificent par 4 with stunning views of the beach. On a beautiful summer’s day, Chris travels to Mount Juliet, with the ducks and swans keeping him company as he plays the exquisite 3rd Hole. Finally, Paul is off to the K Club near Dublin. Here he plays the 16th Hole where he took on Tiger Woods in the Ryder Cup.

Episode 3: 

Adare Manor is the first course for Paul in Episode Three of the series. Paul tees off next to the magnificent Manor House, and takes on the 16th Hole which is a par three over water. Chris is off to the North West of the island of Ireland to play at Lough Erne Resort, featuring two championship golf courses. He plays the 10th Hole, which could be fantastic or a real disaster! Next up, the pair are off to Rory McIlroy’s home club, Holywood. Paul and Chris play the 13th Hole, with beautiful views of the city of Belfast. County Louth is on the East Coast of Ireland by the sea, and the breeze over the cliffs causes some challenges for the golfers. Finally, Paul plays the tricky Hole 14th at Ballyliffin, a par 3 playing into the wind, so a tough end to the episode!

Episode 4: 

The picturesque Portmarnock Golf Club is the first destination for Episode Four. Paul reminisces about the Walker Cup as he plays the 14th Hole. Between the Wicklow Mountains and the Irish Sea, Chris finds himself at Druids Glen. With waterfalls, lakes and unparalleled views, Chris almost forgets he is playing golf. He battles with the 13th Hole which is one of the most dazzling par 4’s in the world. Rosapenna Golf Club has important memories for Paul as this is where he fell in love with the game of golf. As a youngster, Paul used to caddy for his dad at Rosapenna. He plays the par 3, 14th Hole which he loves. Meanwhile, Chris plays the 18th Hole at Galgorm Castle, a fantastic hole with a green surrounded by water. Finally, Paul returns to one of his favourite courses at County Sligo. He plays the 14th Hole, a really tough par 4.

Episode 5:

Lahinch Golf Club, with its stunning views across the Liscannor Bay, begins this episode. Paul loves the short par 4 at Hole 13, calling it the best “risk and reward hole in Ireland.” Next up, Chris visits the home of legendary Solheim cup star Leona Maguire, and plays the challenging Par 5 13th Hole at PGA Slieve Russell. Chris and Paul meet up again just outside of Belfast at the Malone Golf Club. They play the wonderful par 3, 15th Hole there, amidst the beauty of the 270-acre estate. Chris then travels to just outside of Dublin to Carton House, and plays the 18th Hole on the Montgomerie course. Finally, Paul travels to Killarney Golf and Fishing Club, located in the Killarney National Park. He plays the 18th Hole at Mahony’s Point and drinks in the sweeping views.

Episode 6: 

Paul kicks off the episode playing the 15th Hole at Enniscrone, with its sweeping views of Scurmore beach and the beautiful Ox Mountains, in 400 acres of magnificent links. As he’s taking that shot, Chris is travelling down to Waterville, where he plays the dramatic par 5, 18th Hole. With wild red hares racing in and out of the dunes, the course is truly wonderful. Next up, Paul and Chris get together to play the wonderful Royal Portrush. The pair play the big hitter 5th Hole, with a dramatic approach, this is a fantastic hole. Chris then travels to the renowned Royal County Down with its magnificent backdrop of the Mourne Mountains. He plays the 4th Hole, a tough par 3, with a challenging headwind. Will he succeed? The final step on the journey is the fantastic Luttrellstown Golf Club, a course that means so much to Paul. The pair take on the 11th, a pretty par 4, and this concludes their wonderful golfing adventure around the island of Ireland.
