Everyone has a story to tell. Every story deserves to be heard. From Korea to India and from Japan to Israel, millions of people are connected via the universal language of music. Once a year they get together at the biggest music festival in the world. In a series of fifteen vibrant shorts we get a glimpse of the life of these strangers. Showing themes such as family, adoration, self-esteem, abuse and loss.
Whether they celebrate life with all their friends or just want to forget about life at home. This is a portrait of people who dare to go against the grain, a portrait of the People of Tomorrowland.

Episode 1: Tjemi Tjoi
While embracing the differences between Korea and Europe, the Korean Tjemi Tjoi annually searches for freedom and equality at Tomorrowland.

Episode 2: Veronique & Amandine
In a world striving for perfection, mother Veronique and daughter Amandine take a moment to forget the outside world and find self-confidence, despite her prosthesis.

Episode 3: Yasmin
Clothing and make-up restrictions drove Yasmin to the edge of despair. In search for acceptance and appreciation she found answers in expressing her true self

Episode 4: Odil & Mario-Sergio
There is no secret formula for love. Odil & Mario-Sergio from Angola make sacrifices and keep surprising each other. Even on their honeymoon at Tomorrowland

His sexual orientation broke the relationship with his father. As a schoolteacher Sandro from Italy is educating his students to be open-minded.

Episode 6: Jennifer
Exotic dancer Jennifer is not ashamed of having an exhibitionist personality. Show what you have and find liberation in your personal expression.

Episode 7: Kevin 
His red-coloured beard has brought Kevin lots of comments. Starting with homeless accusations, his beard now has a magical appeal.

They fell in love with electronic music in Japan. First-time Tomorrowland visitors Tommy and Umi are actually getting married at the festival.

Different than with friends, Paul and his mother are actually taking care of each other at the festival. Reaching for their ultimate goal: feeling alive.

After a search for her biological mother in India, Sherin found a mother again in her adoption mother. A journey that she will cherish forever.

Episode 12: Celina
Celina from Germany found strength in being different. Dancing was key in regaining her self-confidence.

Episode 13: Itai
While defending the borders of Israel, Itai learned from a young age to recognise the enemy. At Tomorrowland he feels united with the world.

Episode 14: Laura
Feelings of love and fear controlled her life. The abuse changed Laura’s sense of trust. Today, she’s feeling strong and powerful, thanks to her loving boyfriend.

Episode 15: Elisa
Years ago, the love for music reunited her family. Today, in days of goodbye, Elisa is nothing but thankful for the time she had together with her stepfather.
